The Last Wedding of the Season

Ok, I know this blog is supposed to be about my wedding but I can't resist showing you pictures from the wedding I attended last weekend up in Vermont. If rustic, rural weddings are your thing, get ready to fall in love! It helps that the bride is one of my best friends but even I was blown away by the amount of detail and thought put into this wedding. This is the last wedding I'll be featuring for a while, since I don't have any more on my calendar until my own! Here's some of my favorite shots:

The pew decorations were little baskets filled with greenery and white roses and hung with a white ribbon.

Here's a shot of the wreaths decorating the door to the church. I love the berries, which were included not only here, but in almost every arrangement.

Homemade programs in burnt orange, one of the predominant colors in the wedding (the other one was navy) along with cones of lavender to throw as the couple exited the church.

How cute is their getaway car? I love the "Just Married" sign and the fact that their dog jumped in with them.

The stunning bouquets. All the florals were jewel-toned, perfectly reflecting the autumn theme of the wedding.

At the cocktail hour, the non-alcoholic beverages (lemonade, ice tea and water) were served in large apothecary jars.

I love that they had two cakes (almond with raspberry filling and flourless chocolate) and the use of their monogram on the table). Also, check out the rustic cake stands, genius!

These were the centerpieces. Lush, autumnal and gorgeous.

The reception was in a converted barn that was decorated with paper lanterns and white lights, creating a dreamy, fairytale effect.

I'll finish with a shot of the couple during their first dance....tear.

This wedding was so heartfelt and lovely, these pictures don't convey the half of it. H and H, congrats on your marriage and your wonderful, wonderful wedding. All my love...
