Cheryl Cole Lands Role In Hollywood Movie

It looks like she's finally back on her feet.

After being axed from the US XFactor Cherly Cole had much to moan about but now she is set to wow US audiences once again, this time on the big screen.

The singer is set to star alongside A-Listers Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming flick What To Expect When You're Expecting.

And in an ironic twist Cheryl's cameo will see her as a talent show judge, in a scene where Cameron Diaz is auditioning for an X-Factor type program.

The film, which is an adaptation of the successful pregnancy guide, is due for release next May and is set to launch Cheryl into stardom.

It already began shooting but Cherly who is in will shoot her scenes in the U.S. later this month. The film also starrs Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock and Matthew Morrison and tells the story about four couples who are preparing to become parents.


Despite previously saying that she would never want to become a Hollywood actress, Cherly looks well on her way to hanging with the A-listers. Maybe she'll find a new man?

Yes singer Cheryl Cole was all smiles last night as she partied the night away with her music manager and Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am.

The gorgeous Geordie sported a casual look, with messy curls, a dark tan, red lips and a bright white strapless dress. The singer looked happier than ever as she leaned into Will, who is said to be helping her launch her US music career.

Cheryl seems to have finally put her disasterous relationship with Ashley Cole behind her, as she has moved into a top LA pad and looks to be settling in just fine.

Let's hope she finally moves on and focuses on her career.

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has said that he is sure Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole will change in order to win back ex-wife Cheryl Cole.

The Mayo native says he believes the couple are perfect for each other, despite love rat Ashley constantly cheating:

"I saw a side of them most people didn't - when they were together and the cameras were turned off. You could tell how much they loved each other."

The music manager added that he thinks Cheryl (28) and Ashley (30) will end up together no matter what and that Cheryl will definitely be able to tame him this time round:

"I honestly think that Ashley will change this time for her and she will tame him. They will end up together."

Well I'm going to have to disagree with Louis there. As well as admitting to a string of affairs during their marriage, also paying a hairdresser to get an abortion because he knocked her up, he has also been caught out sleeping around the last few weeks while he was trying to win Cheryl back.

Why is everyone supporting Cheryl in her decision to take him back, is it just me or has the world gone insane?

Cheryl Cole Buys $5 Million LA Mansion

Well this is surely a good start to moving on with your life.

Just as an air-hostess has claimed that she bedded Ashley Cole just before he jetted home for Cheryl Cole's 28th Birthday Bash, the 'Promise This' singer has bought herself a lavish pad in LA.

According to reports Cheryl had been trying to persuade Ashley (30) to move to California with her for good as she launches her music career in the states. Ashley was set to leave Chelsea behind but now it seems Cheryl's dreams have been crushed once again.

The massive two-bedroom pad also boasts three luxury bathrooms, a home cinema and an outdoor swimming pool, all for the costly sum of $5,050,000!! Buying a two-bed pad does suggest that Cheryl is not ready for a family just yet, despite claims that she wanted to start a family with Ashley.

The new apartment is located in a luxurious sky scraper building which used to be a 5-star hotel. A local estate agent said the Geordie picked a great apartment:

"Cheryl has great taste. She is moving into the most prestigious address in the whole of LA."

With a new home maybe Cheryl can finally move on with her life and find someone who is actually willing to treat her right!

The singer is said to be devastated by the new claims that Ashley slept with another woman while trying to re-kindle their romance and it would have been their fifth wedding anniversary last Friday.
Apparently Ashley had organized a family barbecue for the blonde this week but Cheryl has now cancelled the party and demanded her delete her phone number for good. A source revealed that the pair were back on track until now:

"Once again Ashley appears to have outdone himself. Just as Cheryl’s getting back on track and working really hard on her music he does this. She is humiliated. Ashley had organised a family ­gathering, a barbecue, for when he got back from pre-season training in the Far East. This has been scrapped."

Cheryl Cole Tells Ashley To Leave Chelsea Forever

In the midst of trying to win Cheryl back, Ashley Cole has been told he needs to make some sacrifices before she officially reunites with him.

Sources close to Cheryl Cole have revealed that she has asked the footballer to leave his Chelsea team and move to LA with him, or else it's over for good.

Ashley has a £6 million a year contract with the famous football team, so leaving that behind is a massive sacrifice for her cheating ex-hubby.

An insider revealed that Ashley (30) will have to move to California if he wants his marriage back again:

"Cheryl has told Ashley that her plan is to work on her solo music in the United States. She says that if he wants to be with her, he would have to be prepared to break his £120,000-a-week deal with Chelsea and play for an American team instead."

The source added that although Ashley has already said he will do anything for Cheryl, this might be going a step too far:

"Ashley has told her he would do virtually anything for her but this could be asking a little too much. He is still at the peak of his game – it would be career suicide for him to move to the US at this stage."

At least if he does make the move he could hook up with footballer David Beckham and maybe play for the LA Galaxy team?

Kayla Collins Demands Meet Up With Cheryl Cole

Uh oh, this looks like it's going to get nasty.

Just as Cheryl Cole has agreed to take back cheating ex-hubby Ashley Cole, his Playboy bunny ex is demanding to get some answers.

While Ashley was promising Cheryl he had changed, the footballer had been spotted getting cozy with ex-fling Kayla Collins in the Playboy mansion just a few weeks ago.

Now Kayla (24) is said to be "upset and confused" as she now knows he is back with his ex wife. Sources say that the former I'm A Celebrity star was "getting on great" with Ashley (30) until she heard the news about Cheryl.

Kayla and Ashley had a fling last year.

An insider revealed:

"Kayla is confused and angry about the situation and wants to talk everything through with Cheryl. She wants to know where she stands. And she wants it from the horse's mouth, not by trying to work out what is happening through gossip columns."

"She is keen to look her in the eye and find out the truth. It's all a bit of a mess."

The source added that blonde babe Kayla had "tried to fix a meeting with Cheryl but couldn't find her." Let's be honest here, Cheryl wouldn't go anywhere near here!

Ashley was last seen partying with Kayla at a VIP party in the Playboy mansion, which he attended with Man City star Shaun Wright-Phillips (29) and Bolton's Zat Knight (31).

Kayla also dated The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright briefly, so she certainly likes to make it into the tabloids.

Joe McElderry Lands New Record Deal, All Thanks To Cheryl!

It seems like Geordies stick together in this business!

After winning Popstar to Operastar last week, former X Factor winner Joe McElderry, was now signed a new six-figure record deal with Universal.

The record company also represents Cheryl Cole and sources say the decision to sign him was pushed by her. A source revealed that the 'Promise This' singer really wanted to help out Joe, as she was his mentor from the beginning:

“Joe and Cheryl have always had a bond and they keep in touch. They both know what it's like to be ditched by Simon Cowell but are determined to make it on their own and show him what they're capable of.”

Joe’s new album, which includes a bevy of classical hits, is expected to be rush released to coincide with the start on the new series of X Factor, which kicks off in a few weeks time.

Fergie Says Cheryl Never Wanted To Divorce Ashley And Says They Are Ready To Start A Family Together

Close pal of Cheryl Cole, Fergie has said that the Geordie singer never wanted to split from her cheating hubby Ashley.

The Black Eyed Peas singer revealed that Cheryl felt forced to call it quits with the Chelsea footballer because his infedilities had become public knowledge.

Adding fuel to speculation that Ashley (30) and Cheryl(28) have reunited, Fergie said the singer is still in love with her ex husband:

"He really hurt her and I couldn't at the time ever see her taking him back. She really loved him and didn't want to get divorced, she just felt she had no choice."

The wife of Josh Duhamel supports Cheryl's decision to get back together with the footballer and says that the 'Promise This' singer is a stronger person now:

"Cheryl's a lot stronger than she was two years ago. The relationship will be on her terms. But she needs to follow her own heart. The love is still there."

Cheryl and Fergie have become really close friends in the last 2 years

Fergie added that Cheryl shouldn't listen to, get this, her friends, loved ones or management, because it's up to her to decide:

"It's easy for people to say she's crazy for taking him back but life isn't as simple as that. If love is still there and she truly believes he's changed then she should go for it if that's what she wants. The 'Nine' star even hinted at the idea that Cheryl is preparing to re-marry Ashley and start a family:

"She's a very traditional girl at heart and wants kids and to grow old with somebody. She is really strong now, and if she does decide to give him another chance he's going to have to be the perfect husband because it's her dream to be the perfect wife and mother."

It's clear that Fergie has been through a marital affair herself, as it is rumoured that Transformers star Josh cheated on her last year but she stood by her man.

In my opinion once a cheater always a cheater, and although in some cases people deserve a second chance, but Ashley already had that chance and he messed it up.

I feel so sorry for Cheryl that she is this naive to get back with him.

Cheryl Cole has been beaming ever since showing off her new 'Chob' at her 28th birthday last weekend. The 'Promise This' singer was keeping a low profile ever since she was axed from the X Factor, but now she's not afraid to flaunt her new look.

Cheryl was spotted arriving at LAX airport last night and she was joined by Girls Aloud band member Kimberly Walsh. Cheryl looked stunning in this outfit and looked very 'hollywood' in these oversized sunglasses.

There have been rumours that Cheryl has been asked by Fox to film scenes on the US X Factor that will explain her departure, but when asked if the singer is in LA to do that her rep just said: "Cheryl is taking some time out as she said on her website last month. "

Ashley Cole Sneaked Into Cheryl Cole's Birthday Party!

So the rumours must be true!

After weeks and weeks of sources claiming that Cheryl Cole has decided to give her ex-cheating-hubby Ashley Cole another chance,  Miss Red can reveal that the Chelsea footballer was spotted at her 28th Birthday Bash.

Ashley, who had been in LA for the last few weeks, came straight from Heathrow airport to Cheryl's exclusive birthday party. His chauffeur-driven car sneaked into the Sanderson Hotel unnoticed via the underground car park. And when he left the party in the early hours of Saturday morning he hid his face in the back seat.

Guests who attended the party have said that the former lovers were having fun together drinking Vodka, and that they danced together by the DJ booth. Ashley’s mother Sue and brother Matthew told the News Of The World: "They are very happy together."

And get this, apparently Cheryl's mum Joan, who has always spoken out against Ashley, approached Ashley at the party and led him by hand to her daughter. "That was Joan’s way of giving her seal of approval" an insider said.
The Girls Aloud singer spent an estimated £25,000 to effectively rent out half of the elite Sanderson Hotel for two days to pamper herself and close friends and family.

She was in the £1,000-a-night penthouse for three nights, and booked a luxurious bungalow suite below her for her mother, along with 20 more rooms for other party guests.

So will Cheryl and Ashley be reuniting for good? A source said no one knows what will happen:

"Who knows what is going to happen in the future with them? Ashley is a predator, he likes a challenge, and Cheryl is so tired and emotional that she may just give in."

Cheryl Cole is officially back in the spotlight!

After hiding away from the world for the last five weeks, Cheryl Cole has finally shown her face again and she is looking stunning!

The singer sent media into a frenzy this week when she was snapped with a blonde bob, and now she's been showing it off in style! Known now as a 'Chob' the former Girls Aloud bandmate looked really happy last night celebrating her 28th birthday.

Showing off her new honey blonde asymmetrical choppy bob properly for the first time, the Geordie looked back to her old self as she arrived at the Sanderson Hotel in London's Fitzrovia.

The former X Factor judge looked stunning in a white Stella McCartney Autumn/Winter 2011 chiffon dress with circular embellishments, which she teamed with a pair of champagne high-heeled sandals. Those circular embellishments will be everywhere now!

Among the top celeb guests were her Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberly Walsh. Noticeable absent was her former close friend Simon Cowell, the music mogul's absence was felt by many and has restarted the rumours that the two are no longer speaking.

Her manager Will.i.am, headed to the party after performing with The Black Eyed Peas at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park.

A friend of Cheryl's said of her new hair that she was ready for a new change: "It’s a new year, a new look – she wanted a change and she wanted to feel free."

A number have sources have revealed today that Cheryl Cole has chopped her hair off! According to Elisa Roche, the showbiz editor of the Daily Express, Cheryl's new do is in a short bob with her hair colour "honey", layered and "slightly feathered" at the ends.

We all know that her ex-hubby Ashley Cole loves blondes, so let's hope it's not for him. More than likely the new haircut and colour is for her lucrative L’Oréal campaign.

Twitter is going insane with people claiming the saw the singer leaving the US embassy with the new hair-cut. And leave it to her to change her hair completely the day her wax work has been revealed at Madam Tussauds wax museum in London.

Nadine Coyle Says Cheryl Cole Is A "Failure"

She's going to regret saying this!

Nadine Coyle was overheard slagging off her former bandmate Cheryl Cole, calling her"a failure".

According to Heat magazine, the 'Insatiable' singer made the comments while out for pre-birthday drinks in a New York bar last week. The mag claims that Nadine said:

"I have more talent in my little finger. Why would I be jealous of a failure? Cheryl got way too big for her boots. She thought she could walk on water and had to learn the hard way that things don't always work out as planned. People don't know the real Cheryl like I do."

Meow!!! Sources have also said that the Irish singer, who recently split from fiance Jason Bell, still has issues with her former bandmate:

"Nadine was being quite hard and really letting rip about her feelings. As the conversation turned towards Cheryl's recent sacking, Nadine said it was for the best and that Cheryl would have been 'out of her depth on the US X Factor'."

Cheryl Cole Releases Statement On Personal Website

For the first time in weeks Cheryl Cole has finally broken her silence.

After being dropped from the US X Factor and refusing to re-join the UK version, Cheryl has been in hiding, but today the Geordie has posted a message on her website (cherylcole.com) to all her fans.

The head 'A Message From Cheryl To Her Soldiers' appears on the front page of the singers site. In the statement Cheryl tells fans that she is "ok" and there is nothing to worry about. Here is the full statement:

"Hi my Gorgeous ones.

It's me! I wanted to talk to you all direct, and first and foremost thank you all for your continued love, unbelievable LOYALTY and support and remind you that I love you all to bits.

Where do i start? I have had the weirdest past few weeks (nothing unusual there though.) I wouldn't even know how to begin to tell you all about it. What I do know for certain is that I have the BEST, most unbelievable people out there, who I feel so lucky to call my support system. You never fail to amaze me.

I have been reading your letters and opening my prezzies ( I feel very spoilt ) and hearing all of your kind, special and inspiring things you want to say to me. I feel your presence and strength always, and no matter what decision I make or what it is I'm facing, I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know.

Cheryl Cole Moved Back In With Ashley?

Oh no, say it isn't so!

According to reports today, Cheryl Cole has decided to give her ex-cheating-hubby a chance, and has moved back in with footballer Ashely Cole.

Apparently the 'Fight For This Love' singer spend the night in their former mansion in Surrey. The couple had previously split in September after four years of marriage, when Ashley's infidelities came to light.


But now a source close to the pair say things are back on track, and Ashley has been a great shoulder to cry during the embarassment of the US X Factor:

"They were saying what a special night it was. They were mucking about like old times just playing pool, smoking and having a few drinks. There wasn't any awkwardness between the two of them and they seemed very comfortable together."

An insider also said that since Cheryl split with professional dancer Derek Hough, Ashley has been there for her. Even flying out to California last week to see her:

"Cheryl's life has been turned upside down. A few months ago she was happy with Derek and thought she would be a superstar in America. But everything's changed. She feels very unsettled and Ashley can provide her with comfort and stability. She's confused about her future and wants some time to hide away and think." 

I hope this isn't true, no matter how tough things are getting for the Geordie, she shouldn't go back to Ashley!

Fashion Fix - Nicole Scherzinger (v) Cheryl Cole

It seems like Nicole Sherzinger just can't get it wrong!

Ever since taking her rightful place on the US X Factor judging panel, the songstress has not only been kicking ass at the judging desk, but she's also rocking the red carpet. The revealing blue powder dress above completely shot Cheryl Cole's last look out of the water!

The singer is flaunting her legs and revealing a lot of skin, and I love it! Paired with sun glasses and her hair tied up in a messy ponytail, the former Pussycat Doll looks every inch of the fashionista we expect her to be!

So let's have a look at some of the other outfits these two singers have worn over the last few weeks. So the first time they came head to head on the X Factor red carpet was at the launch of the show in LA.

Tacky (v) Sophisticated

Cheryl looked very prim and proper, maybe a bit too put together? Althouh I loved the shoes, I felt that paired with the necklace and this tarocotta dress, it just wasn't really her, Cheryl looked uncomfortable. Nicole on the other hand rocked this black above the knee, zip dress.

Both women have very contrasting looks on this day. Obviously Cheryl stood out her more, with the bright colour of her dress, and Nicole's did look a little tacky!

Finally, last week Nicole showed off an outfit that looked very similiar to Cheryl's debut judging outfit! Everyone was shocked when the Geordie wore bright purple high waisted paints, an illuminous green belt and a bright orange flared top (and let's not forget the massive hair).

Sexy (v) Messy

Bu as usual, Nicole took on the look and added some style and sophistication. Wearing the exact same purple in a skirt,  the singer wears a lighter top than Cheryl's, looking more on the peach side than orange. I have to say I hated Cheryl's look but this outfit looks amazing on Nicole.

So that's Nicole: 2, Cheryl: 1. Nicole is the winner, and I'm sure she will show off some more winning looks in the next few weeks.

I have to say, I'm glad Simon Cowell has spoken out about the situation.

At the end of the day he is a businessman, one of the most powerful business men in the world, and Miss Cheryl Cole is in a huff just because she didn't get her way!

Here's the full (extremely long) statement:

“When she turned down the UK show, we got back in touch and said, well she is still under contract with the US show so we invited her back. Her position was still there. We had some heated conversations with her US manager Will.i.am and he inferred this wasn’t a genuine offer. They thought that if she didn’t turn up on Wednesday then we wouldn’t pay her. "

"We made it clear that she was always going to be paid in full. We got to the point on Saturday when we genuinely thought she was going to accept the offer but again neither she nor they returned any calls. So we’ve announced Nicole. Knowing Cheryl like I know her, we noticed she was quieter than normal, looked a bit uncomfortable but I put some of this down to nerves. The overall feeling was that she was slightly out her comfort zone in America, compared to what she was in the UK. If she had accepted my original offer, she would have made a sensational return and would have understood she was more comfortable in the UK than the US."

"I apologize that all this has become public and I understand the stress she is under, and I hate that. But we have all been under a lot of stress. When things like this happen I look at the contestant, they must think this is crazy. All the attention is on us. I am sorry this has caused so much anguish and embarrassment, but I stand by what I believe was the right intention. And I would say that to her face right now. I had a text from her last Wednesday. She said she felt let down but at the time she understood that it was a professional decision. I replied saying this was never personal or saying you were terrible."

"It wasn’t that she was terrible – she was good – I just thought she’d be happier in the UK. After the year she’d had with Ashley and the whole malaria thing, you either shut it down and go for it or you have to be with your friends and family to deal with it. A hundred per cent I have to take full responsibilty because I do have a lot of sway."

"We are close friends. I still hope we are but sometimes when you’re that close, when you’re making these decisions with someone’s life you have to be certain. I stand by what I said to her. I hope we’re still close friends. I’m sure if she was here now there would be a frank discussion, but will I work with her again? Definitely. She’s a star. "

"The intention was to do it quietly and simply say to her that you have an option to rejoin the UK show. We were saying move to another show for even more money. There was offer of around £2.5million on the table including bonuses. So how is that sacking someone? If that’s being horrible to someone then I would be quite happy with someone doing that to me."

"She was certainly interested as we exchanged a few texts and she asked if she could have my dressing room at the studio and I said ‘of course.' Her management even asked for a legal waiver to her contract with the US show allowing her to open discussions with ITV. So we genuinely thought it was going to happen. But the big condition was that it was to be kept under wraps and she would make a big entrance last week at the Birmingham auditions and everyone would have loved it. But when the story got out, it changed everything."

I genuinely thought she could return to the UK show and be triumphant. Louis knows. He was actually fired but then he came back to a triumphant return. She would have made a sensational return and would have understood she was more comfortable in the UK than she would be in the US."

Well in fairness, I really feel sorry for Simon, he only has to explain himself because she's 'Britain's Sweetheart'. She really should have just taken the offer to return to the UK and swallowed some pride.

She will definitely regret this decision, I think she's a nobody without the X Factor. Simon made her who she is right now, and she should be thankful.

Simon Cowell Says Cheryl Cole Seemed "Uncomfortable" In US

Simon Cowell has finally broken his silence on the whole Cheryl Cole scandal.

For the first time, the music mogul has revealed what really happened on the US X Factor. In an interview Simon said Cheryl wasn't herself on the new judging panel:

"Knowing Cheryl like I know her, we noticed she was quieter than normal, looked a bit uncomfortable but I put some of this down to nerves. The overall feeling was that she was slightly out her comfort zone in America, compared to what she was in the UK."

Simon went on to admit that once he saw Cheryl wasn't being herself he offered her a larger sum of money to return to the UK X Factor but she rejected this offer:

“If she had accepted my original offer, she would have made a sensational return and would have understood she was more comfortable in the UK than the US.”

However,once the sacking scandal broke, Cheryl's team apparently refused to speak with Cowell's people. She was then given a deadline to respond of six days but didn't, so they announced their UK judges.

Then you'll remember a few days ago FOX bosses offered Cheryl her job back - giving her 24 hours to decide. This move didn't go down so well, with her US manager Will.i.a.m claiming the offer wasn't genuine.

FOX finally announced Nicole as the new judge.

FOX bosses really thought Cheryl would accept the offer, but when they heard nothing back at all they announced Nicole Scherzinger as her replacement.

In his interview Simon revealed that there were problems from the very begining as he had to tell her to "contribute more" at the LA auditions.

He goes on to say that by the Chicago audition on May 19, he realised things weren't working out and she had to go - with bosses sacking her on May 25 before the show even hit TV screens.

Cheryl's auditions wll still be shown on the FOX network, no word yet on how they will axe her and replace her with Nicole on the show.
