Seriously Social - The Catwalk To Kilimanjaro Launch

Daniella, Georgia, Louise and Roz at the launch.

Ireland's favourite models strutted their stuff at Harry's On The Green this Wednesday night and it was all in the name of charity.

Georgia Salpa, Roz Purcell, Louise Johnston and Daniella Moyles have all signed up for the massive climb to Kilimanjaro.

The girls took to the stage to thank everyone.
The four AR Models have been busting their asses training three times a week and starting a new strict diet plan, and it's all to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation.

But as well as raising funds, the girls were raising the fashion bar this Wednesday night, when they stepped out for the launch. So of course I have to go through all their outfits with you, as well as their fabulous hair.

Roz and Louise at the launch.

Firstly, Ireland's Top model and former Miss Universe Ireland, Rozanna Purcell looked stunning as always, this time flaunting her gorgeous long legs in floral hot pants and a flowing white shirt, paired with a red skinny belt and to-die-for soft orange high heels with studs.

And celebrating the return of Fade Street while enjoying the launch all in one night was Louise Johnston. The Dublin star kept it simple with straight blonde locks, a two toned beige and grey flowy dress and dark beige high heels.

Tabloid favourite and girlfriend to Calum Best, Georgia Salpa sported long black hair extensions, skin-tight jeans and a belly top showing off that super toned stomach of hers and flaunting her teeny-tiny figure.

Last but certainly not least, RTE Bulletin TV's Daniella Moyles showed off her petite figure in this gorgeous short dress. The Oxegen TV presenter also had her hair in curls, swept to the side, showing off her balayage look. (Check out her Celebrity Diary in today's Herald HERE.)

Geraldine O'Callaghan

As well as enjoying some Kilimanjaro cocktails, all thanks to Harry's On The Green, guests got to chat to the four stars, who will be climbing Kilimanjaro in October for the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Also enjoying the night was Apprentice and Celebrity Masterchef star Geraldine O'Callaghan, who works as a hostess in the bar. And also spotted at the launch was Miriam O'Callaghan's model daughter turned lawyer Alannah McGurk.

Miss UN Europe Sami Long

Other guests included Miss UN Europe Sami Long, singer Mickey Harte and his wife Louise, plus Conor Deehan (who made the hilarious video below).

Mickey Harte and wife Louise.

And let's not forget, of course the night was all in the name of charity folks and thankfully a lot of money was raised at the launch alone.

Lorna Weightman, the presenter of Style Nation, helped organise the climb and the new TV3 documentary about journey airing in a few months.

She told Miss Red that there are over 200 children on the waiting list, so all funds are really needed, and the girls are so passionate about helping out the charity.

Lorna Weightman

Such a great night had by all, and so much money raised for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Make sure to keep on donating, and of course tune in for the TV3 documentary in the next few months.

PS!!

Check out this hilarious video made on the night for the charity. Do you think his impersonations are spot on?? Skip to 2.30 to see his take on the girls!

If you didn't donate yet, you still can on www.catwalk2kilimanjaro.com.

Georgia Salpa Moves To AR Models With Louise Johnston and Daniella Moyles

In Saturday's HERALD I broke the exclusive news first that Georgia Salpa was leaving Assets for Andrea Roches's modelling agency, and today the move has finally been confirmed!

Ireland's most photographed model Georgia has left behind the company that made her who she is today, Assets Models. Owner of the company Derek Daniels is said to be "really annoyed" about the depature that is set to land Georgia a massive lingerie campaign in the coming weeks.

A source at the agency revealed to Miss Red that Georgia moved to AR models because Andrea made her an offer she couldn't refuse. An insider revealed:
"A deal has definitely been made. Andrea has some good contacts in England, and has promised to get Georgia more deals now that she's got great publicity in the UK since dating Calum. Assets were never going to do enough for her."

Georgia has become more popular thanks to Calum.

The surprising move has confused people in the industry as former model Andrea deals with mostly high fashion shoots and catwalk shows. Although Georgia may be able to pull off strutting her stuff down the runway, a source revealed that Andrea has other things in mind for the half Greek beauty.
"There will be no more press calls for Georgia. She wants to have a big brand behind her, just like Roz Purcell is the face of Gosh. Andrea has great contacts in department stores too, we think she will land a Lingerie deal."
No matter what direction Georgia's career takes next, it is clear that she will be making a lot more money. Since hooking up with bad boy Calum the stunning model has upped her rates for both press calls and public appearances.

An insider says she changed her price for an appearance from €300 to €500 and she was also doubling her prices for a press call. "You wouldn't move from the biggest agency in the country if money wasn't involved." the source added.

Although Assets is being credited for finding Georgia and putting her on the path to stardom, insiders admit that the model walking out and going to a rival agency has been like a "slap in the face" to owner Derek.

Daniella and Louise have also moved to AR

Meanwhile Fade Street beauty Louise (22), who previously said that she was "too short to be a model" has also signed on to work for AR. Although she has no previous modelling experience and has never strutted down a runway, sources say she is highly popular as a commercial model.

An insider said Louise will be perfect for commerical jobs:
"Louise is really only after getting into modelling because of Fade Street,  but she has a pretty face and that's all you need for press calls."

Louise's pal Daniella (21), who recently presented Oxegen TV for the first time, has also joined the AR team. The Irish beauties are now on the same book as the stunning Roz Purcell, Pippa O'Connor, Emma Waldron and Rosanna Davison.

PS!!

I have two massive exclusives about Georgia's next career moves in tomorrow's HERALD.

Calum Best Rants On Twitter About The Press!

Uh oh someone's rubbed him up the wrong way!

Calum Best has taken to twitter to vent about the Irish Press. Although he didn't name a specific publication, the sexy hunk vented on the social networking site, defending his relationship with Dublin model Georgia Salpa.
"So I usually don't read the #!@%*# negative press but some Irish journo did piece today saying every six months I use a different girl and take pics with em--- ok my friend get a grip, u meet someone, if u like them u try to build on a relationship, in my situation and this industry pictures will be taken. If things don't work and its not meant to be how the hell can I help that? And I'm pretty #!@%*# sure it takes two to tango and I'm not breaking anyone's arm to date me. Thank you very much."
Wow he was just dying to get that off his chest, seems like he really wants to impress Georgia doesn't it? Maybe this relationship is the real deal, and we need to forget about Calum's past.

From what I can see the Celebrity Salon star is referring to today's Herald article by the lovely Caitlin McBride, but no publication was mentioned in his rant!

Jedward Getting 1 Million To Appear On Celebrity Big Brother!!

Is there anything that these guys can't do?

Dublin twins John and Edward Grimes, aka Jedward, are set to pocket £500,000 each to appear on this year's Celebrity Big Brother. The show that made stars like Chantelle Houghton famous, is set to be revived by Channel 5 this summer.

After being axed from the X Factor the 19-year-old brothers have become multi-millionaires, while the shows winner, Joe McEldry has lost his recording contract and has moved back into his parents house! OUCH!!

A source revealed that the singing duo are over the moon with the new deal: "The lads can’t believe their luck – a cool half a million each."

And apparently Channel 5 bosses have a “wishlist” of stars that they want for the comeback show. The list includes: Charlie Sheen, Imogen Thomas, Wayne Rooney, call girl Helen Wood and former Harrods boss Mohamed Fayed.

Imogen Thomas and Ireland's own Top Model Georgia Salpa may be on the show!

I think they are dreaming there, with dropping names like Sheen and Rooney, that would never happen. But sources have already been saying that Imogen will take the job, and I've been hearing whispers myself that Ireland's own Top Model Georgia Salpa may have been offered a spot. Throw Calum Best in there, and now it gets interesting! So three Irish stars may be on this summers show!

Jedward have gained some extra fans since representing Ireland in this years Eurovison Contest, and caused some controversy when John apparently snogged German singer Lena.

Their most recent single 'Lipstick' shot up the charts all over Europe, and now it looks like their names will be on everyone's lips once again!

Do you think this will be a good move for them? Remember what happened to Jade Goody when she went back on the show, her career was ruined!

Georgia Salpa And Calum Best All Loved Up In Italy!!

It is one of the most romantic countries in the world, and the beach destination had just got a little hotter thanks to these two!

Yes, the Georgia Salpa and Calum Best finally showed the world that they are officially a couple, by smooching in front of paparazzi while enjoying the sun in Tuscany.

A source at the beach said the couple looked madly in love:
"It was plain to see that these two are besotted with each other. Everybody on the beach could see that, they were flirting with each other, kissing and cuddling all the time. They looked so happy."

Calum (30) and Georgia (26) enjoyed themselves into the early hours of this morning also. They were snapped talking gulps from a massive bottle of vodka in front of a crowd of partiers.

Meanwhile, Calum has also been a busy bee on Twitter! He told fans yesterday that he may have sealed a new deal for his fragrance 'Best':
"Very excited might have just closed a deal in Italy to sell my new fragrance Best, good times."
Calum and Georia downed vodka from this bottle

But this morning the times didn't seem to be that good when he went on a public rant about Celebrity Salon co-star Abi Titmuss. I can't tell what Abi did, or what she said, but it seems like she may have been giving out about his new relationship with Georgia.

Calum angrily tweeted:
"Who does abi titmuss think she is, first, I've never said a word about her , or is she an ex of mine, then she has the nerve to talk about me and give relationship advice, do one!"

He added that super skinny models is a trend of the past, and the modelling guru is actually looking for more curvacious women:
