Rebecca Ferguson and Zayn Malik Split Up!

This is a real shocker!

Despite claiming they were deeply "in love" former X Factor contestants Rebecca Ferguson and Zayn Malik have called it quits.

Last year's runner up Rebecca announced the split on Twitter but quickly deleted the message: "I'm happy to say ive decided to be single my children my family and my career are now my world!!"

Just last month Rebecca, who has two children with her ex-boyfriend Karl Dures, gushed about her love for the 18-year-old One Direction singer:

"Sometimes when the right person comes along, you just drop your guard. He's a very sweet person with a very kind heart. I didn't even know Zayn liked me but apparently he had done for a very long time, but nobody told me. I was the last person to find out."

But the songstress knew people were against the realtionship, inlcudinh hundreds of One Direction fans:

"We're really in love and it's hard to see how negative things have become. I want people to know that I'm happy, he's happy and we're in a loving, caring relationship. It's sad that people are so against it."

Geneva Lane Calls Zayn Malik A "Heartbreaker"

It looks like someone's trying to get some attention!

Former X Factor star Geneva Lane has said that One Direction member and former fling, Zayn Malik is a "heartbreaker".

The singer, who ditched band Belle Amie back in January to try and start a solo career, had a brief fling with Zayn during the last season of the X Factor. After dumping the brunette over the phone and starting to date last year's runner up Rebecca Ferguson, it seems Geneva ain't too happy!

Since getting together both Rebecca and Zayn have admitted they are completely "in love" and now Geneva says Zayn is a player and will break her heart:

"Zayn's a heartbreaker. When I found out he was seeing Rebecca I felt numb. He told me he loved me and promised me the world."

The singer, who seems quite sour about the new couple, added that she thinks Zayn and Rebecca won't last, claiming that their 6 year age gap is too big:

"They are complete opposites. She's so grown up and has kids, whereas Zayn still plays at being a Power Ranger with the other One Direction boys. But I know from experience how hard it is to say no to Zayn. He's very persuasive."

Geneva also told News of The World editor Dan Wooton that Zayn could never act as a father to her children:

"He's too immature for her - she's a mum and I don't think he's capable of playing dad to her kids."

Someone is seriously green with envy!! And so she should be, not only has Zayn moved on and seems to be happy, but her former Girl Band Belle Amie have already went on tour and just released their first music video, check it out here:

Zain Malik Denies Engagement To Rebecca Ferguson

In fairness they would have been moving waaaay to fast if this were true!

One Direction member Zain Malik has denied claims that he is engaged to fellow X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson. Press reported today that the 18-year-old had popped the question to the Liverpool mother of two, but Zain was quick to stop the rumor mill in his tracks.

He Tweeted:

"Lots of rumours on twitter today ... Im not engaged !! Love you @RebeccaFMusic xx :)"

Earlier this month Rebecca revealed that they were "really in love". And it looks like they certainly are, but now wedding bells just yet!

Rebecca Ferguson Says She And Zain Malik Are "In Love"!

Wow, I can't believe she has actually confirmed the romance!

X Factor runner up Rebecca Ferguson has confessed that she and Zain Malik are "really in love" and that she's sad to hear so much negativity from his One Direction fans.

The two singers apparently fell for eachother during the X Factor Live Tour, and despite the six year age-gap, the Liverpool songstress told the News Of The World that they are madly in love:

"We're really in love and it's hard to see how negative things have become. I want people to know that I'm happy, he's happy and we're in a loving, caring relationship. It's sad that people are so against it."

The mother-of-two added that despite people thinking she is using Zain for fame, she actually has her own career:

"I just spoke to Zain and that's how he feels too. He's actually very mature. He's quiet and really, really nice. I've got a career, I've got my own record deal and money, and I've got my own life. I'm not gaining anything from this. It's genuine love."

Rebecca admitted that she did stay away from 18-year-old at first because she thought he was too young to date:

"I'm going to be really honest... he was after me for months. I was like: 'No, you're too young'. But he really wooed me and it was a long, long struggle before anything happened. I have no idea why I'm getting the hard time. I think it's really sexist. Because I'm a woman with children I'm not allowed to be happy?"

Rebecca has two children with a former partner, Lily aged five, and Karl aged four. No word yet on if Zain has met the chidren yet, but I'm guessing it will be hard to be a step-father at 18.

But they do sound very much in love, and with both of them having record deals they seem to be living the life right now and I wish them all the best!

Rebecca Ferguson Dating Zain Malik?

I'm completely surprised by this romance!

Former X Factor contestants Rebecca Ferguson and Zain Malik are said to be secretly dating!! The News Of The World is reporting that the Liverpool mum of one has fallen head over heels for the One Direction member!

The 24-year-old beauty and the 17-year-old singer are said to have started a relationship while on their X Factor tour. A source told the paper that although they are mad about eachother, it may not be the right time to begin dating:

"This relationship could damage Rebecca’s career. She’s seen as the devoted mum who doesn’t have time for relationships, especially with a teenager. And One Direction girl fans will hate the thought of Zain having a relationship with someone older.”

As you know Simon Cowell has a rule that none of the contestants can have a realtionship, but does that still apply now the show is over? The insider says that Simon will nip this in the bud:

"There’s a lot riding on them. Simon won’t want a silly little tour romance to hurt them professionally."
