Dancing Double Says Natalie Portman Did No Ballet Dancing In The Movie

I can tell this argument is about to get nasty!

The girl who acted as Natalie Portman's dancing double in the Oscar-winning 'Black Swan', has claimed that she did all the dancing and Natalie barely danced at all.

Ballerina Sarah Lane said that the film's producers were "trying to create this facade that [Portman] had become a ballerina in a year and a half". She goes on to claim that she alone performed all of the pirouettes, the full-body dancing shots and the leg shots for the film and Natalie basically did nothing. She added:
"How unfortunate it is that, as professional dancers, we work so hard, but people can actually believe that it's easy enough to do it in a year. That's the thing that bothered me the most."

Meanwhile Natalie's fiancé Benjamin Millepied, who choreographed the film, has rubbished these claims, saying that Natalie almost did all of the work:
"There are articles now talking about her dance double that are making it sound like [Lane] did a lot of the work, but really, she just did the footwork, and the fouettés, and one diagonal [phrase] in the studio. Honestly, 85% of that movie is Natalie."
I feel sorry for Natalie, she really deserved the Oscar for Best Actress as everyone could see she poured her heart and soul into that role. She even claimed that she thought she was "going to die" while shooting the movie as she had gruelling rehearsals and constant dancing classes everyday.
