Feeling Tired?

Do you have those days where you feel tired, wore out, and just plain exhausted? Well most of us do have those days if you are alive and breathing. There are a few things that you can do to get yourself back up and running.

One of those things is to go for a walk. When you are tired and wore out, it is not a good time to do an intense work out. The risk of injury is greater when you are not at your best. Taking a walk, however will help to get some energy back in your body, and your mental state.

Walking will help to get more oxygen to your cells and to your brain. This will help revive you and give you a little pick me up. It will also help your circulation to improve, which will allow you to feel better as well.

Just being outdoors and feeling the sun and wind on your skin will help to wake you up. Nature is always good for your soul when you are feeling a bit blah.

Another thing that will help to get your energy up is to listen to some up beat music. Music that makes you feel happy with a good beat is always good to get you moving when you are feeling slow. It especially helps when you are exercising, but is good for that walk you take when you are feeling tired too.

Have a cup of green tea for a lift when you are needing a little more energy. Green tea has caffeine in it, but is much healthier for you than that cup of coffee. The caffeine in green tea is minimal compared to a cup of coffee, and is much less acidic than coffee is.

Taking one of those power naps I spoke of in an earlier blog is a great way to beat that tiredness in the middle of the day. But remember not to nap more than thirty minutes or so, or you will most likely feel more tired after the nap than you did before it. Twenty to thirty minutes is all you need to invigorate yourself from being tired.

Meditation can also revive you when you are in a slump. A visual meditation of something that you love will give you energy. Think happy thoughts, day dream of a wonderful place, or think about something that you would love to happen and visualize it coming true. All of these things will help to lift you up and give you more energy.

So when you are feeling tired and wore out try some of these things to get you back in the game. We don't always have the option of just going to bed and ending our day when we feel this way. Most of us have things to do, places to go, and people to see. Its hard when you are out of energy, but trying these techniques will help you.

Till Tomorrow,
Queenie
